Elizabeth O'Roark's newest novel-My Favorite Bad Decision, is a wonderful new start to a new series and quintessential O'Roark at her finest! O'Roark's writing is funny, conversational, romantic and yearning in the absolute best way! This series while using beloved tropes, feels fresh and new, there is a lightness and lower angst to this novel which I found really enjoyable. If you adore O'Roark's works than you are going to love this novel and if you have never read her before this is a really wonderful introduction!

This sister's ex boyfriend, billionaire romance features Kit and Miller in a forced proximity romance when they both find themselves on the same climb to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro. I really loved the use of this outdoor adventure of bringing these two back together. The setting plays a part in the rediscovery of each other, the challenge of physical and emotional discoveries that they must tackle together, and a place where the little wins can be celebrated. The banter and tension between these two is constantly sizzling as they both are challenge what they know of the other and their true feelings which are bubbling up under the surface. I loved watching these two move from adversaries to champions of the other! I love the unique setting of climbing a mountain to make Kit and Miller really confront their feelings and desires. I loved the romance that is so sweet and endearing. I love that Miller sees into Kit's heart, I love that he is there to rescue her, I love that he is there to support her, I love that these two discover the love that has been building from the first moment that they met.

This novel is romantic, sensual, and ultimately just fun! You must pick up this novel and fall fully into this romance!
