I love that this story is an extension of Harlow’s well loved universe and that we get to experience the love between Ari and Dash which has been years in the making!

This romance is sweetly beautiful and romantically sensual. What starts at as a strong pull to the other, evolves easily into a “friends with benefits” situation. I really loved the way this novel read with such ease. Harlow swiftly draws the reader in and then keeps them turning page after page as this romance gently unfolds through the every day situations of small town life. I really liked the conversational feel of this novel which really works well in this small town romance. The pacing is wonderfully done and really works well for the setting of this story. Harlow also does a wonderful job of focusing on the main couple while still holding their families and support systems in great care. The love between Ari and Dash is inevitable, and this is truly their journey to fully embracing it and choosing that it is worth fight for. I love that the people who surround them just want what is best for them and for them not to hurt the other, so they are cautiously hopeful and supportive to let them explore and make mistakes as they need to.

Melanie Harlow is definitely my go to author for a small town romance that is sure to warm my heart. Small Town Swoon is a lovely addition to the Buckley Family series and I am sure it will delight many readers!
