You are sure to fall head over heels in love with this third installment in the Sutten Mountain series! Kat Singleton beautifully creates this single dad and nanny romance with the care and yearning it needs. Singleton's writing is clear and evocative. Her characters are dimensional and intriguing. And the heart of this story of living everyday to its fullest, finding comfort and hope in family and friends, and choosing to love with your full heart is clear on every page!
Dean and Liv's romance is one that blossoms and opens through trust and understanding. Singleton easily builds their relationship with comfort, chemistry and pining. Liv is on a journey of rediscovery and setting down new roots and when she happens upon Sutten Mountain she is swiftly drawn into the small town charm, is immediately befriended and finds a new purpose in Dean's daughter-Clara. This romance is one that is gently built through openness and trust. Singleton slowly builds the burn between Dean and Liv as they work through feelings around their boss/employee relationship, as well as learning to understand what they want for themselves. The yearning in this novel is top tier! I loved watching their chemistry explode! Outside of the intimate romance of their relationship, there is also a layer of comfort and this novel reads like the perfect autumnal escape! I loved the relationship that Liv builds with Clara. Dean is the absolute perfect father, always putting Clara's needs before everything. I also found Clara to be the perfect mix of sweet and precocious, and I could image her perfectly in the mix of this romance.
Chase Our Forever is a wonderful addition to this small town. I so very highly recommend this novel and all the others in this series! You are sure to fall in love with the town and its people and I look forward to revisiting when I am in the mood.
Thank you so much to Valentine Pr for an eARC, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
