Book Review

Twilight Tides is the a wonderful modern day marriage of convenience between two people who have been dancing around their attraction. Samantha Young will take you on this rich emotional journey of two people who step up and help each other. Young's writing balances the complexities of being human and the dreams and potential of what it mean to feel seen and safe. Young's tone perfectly holds the levels of understanding, humor and romance needed to fully bring this story to life. Twilight Tides is well paced moving between intrigue and romances perfectly.

Murray and London become the perfect pair and I reviled in their dance as they both learned to take the risk to ask for what they want. These two work between different levels of communication when it comes to jumping into a marriage of convenience and learning to ask for what they truly want. I love how easy their understanding of each other and falling into a beautiful companionship. It was so heartening to see London embrace Murray's daughter and show her that she had an adult who was on her side no matter what. I adore watching a small little family take shape and Young does this is the sweetness and softness of everyday moments and the trickle of tension that boils under the surface.

The Scottish Isles series is one that any lover of Samantha Young will fall for! I adore this novel and this series and would so highly recommend picking this novel up.

Thank you so much to House of Hearts Lit for an eARC, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
