If you are looking for a sweet, insta-love, road trip, holiday time romance then look no further than Maggie Kelley's No Rescue Required. This is a charming and fast paced romance full of all the forced proximity and road trip delights! Kelley's writing is engaging, easily accessible, and swiftly draws the reader in and keeps them on board. This is the first novel I have read by Maggie Kelley and it will definitely not be my last. I found this novel to be the perfect trope filled delight I would expect from a face paced holiday romance, and I am definitely looking forward to exploring her backlist.
This insta love romance is the perfect holiday treat for readers. This book is the relationship building of Ryan, a sports agent, and Sabrina, a small town florist. This road trip romance has a delightful small town charm as both Ryan and Sabrina explore what it means to be big city verses small town. This book is quick paced full of quirky moments, humor, and sensuality. I love watching two strangers in situations that show each other how they truly work and handle unforeseen situations. This moments and mishaps also create a really lovely building of understanding and companionship between these two opposite attract characters. By working together throughout this road trip these two can quickly build an understand and rapport with each other that steams not only from physical attraction but through problem solving together and learning to understand the other.
This book is a great introduction to this author, it is fun, sensual, and a great way to spend an afternoon! Would definitely recommend and I am looking forward to reading more of Maggie Kelley's works!
