Peaches and Dreams is an absolutely swoon-worthy small town romance! Juliette Cross is sure to delight you with her 2nd installment in the Green Valley Heroes. Crosses writing is fun and witty, it is sexy and sensual, it is well paced and balanced, and such a lovely romance! I adored watching Marly and Wade get their happily ever after and it was delightful to see Cross' other Green Valley Heroes continue to play a foundational part of these character's romance.
This single father, opposites attract novel is everything I could have wished for. Both Marly and Wade might seem complete opposites but in truth they both are highly dedicated and independent individuals. I loved watching their sizzling chemistry spark and ignite. They both learn to be open and honest with each other, as well as take the risk to be completely bare to the other, as they learn to work through their attraction and budding deeper feelings. I love the humor and mischief that Cross opens this novel with, we immediately see both Marly and Wade for who they are, as well as we see the start of Marly and Jake (Wade's son) relationship. Cross perfectly balances the intimacy of two people in a new relationship with the single parent nature of Wade's world. I loved that Marly sees Jake as an important part of this relationship and she loves him with open arms. Marly's love grows in equal measures for both because she knows they are a package deal. I loved watching Wade see who Marly truly in through her interactions with Jake. I love that Wade while always being practical accepts Marly for who see is at every step of the way and he know what they have is worth fighting for, because once he enters into this relationship he know that it is for keeps. These two easily find a pattern of growing together and accepting each other, and even if they test the other, they always find a way to recenter, be open and learn to listen.
This novel is such a beautiful piece of work. I adore reading Juliette Cross in all her iterations and you are sure to find a novel/series from you that you will enjoy!
