Ex's Sibling, seems to be the current trope of the rise that I have been reading and Tourist Trap by Morgan Elizabeth is a Ex's Brother romance done with elegance and humor that I have come to know Morgan Elizabeth for! Tourist Trap takes the charm of small town and the touristy fun of a small coastal town and brings it to life with fun, charm, family and friends! Elizabeth's writing is like a comforting warm hug, infused the perfect blend of silliness and heart that makes falling in love scary and fun! Elizabeth's novels also have this really lovely interconnection that makes the charm of her universe perfect for anyone who loves the familiarity of characters you have to to know and love.
Tourist Trap is the perfect summer read with a wonderful age gap and grumpy sunshine romance at its center. When Claire needs a place to land for a bit she decides to spend summer in the small coastal town where her best friend is, and finds a rental apartment with her ex boyfriend's brother as her landlord. Claire and Miles are obviously made for each other and both harboring unrequited love for the other. And this small town backdrop where friends and family come first is the perfect place for Claire to examine what she really wants next out of life. I love the opposites attract nature of Claire and Miles because together they bring this harmonious balance to the other. The chemistry between these two is sensual and sweet. I love seeing these two find the love they have always longed for, I love that they stand up for the other, I love that they discover what is worth fighting for!
Tourist Trap was such a delightful read and one that I would so highly recommend! Morgan Elizabeth is one of those authors that seem unassuming on the surface, but one who I have found that I really absolutely vibe with!
Thank you so much to Valentine PR, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
