Unending Love by Stacey Lynn

Book Review

If you are ready to fall for a small town romance, with the a wonderful family at it's center than look no further that Stacey Lynn's newest series-Kelley Family, that officially starts with Unending Love. This novel takes a handful of well loved tropes-single mom, secret baby, sports, and wraps them all up in one delightful bow. I have not had the opportunity to read any of Stacey Lynn's work before this, but I can truly say that Lynn has found herself a new fan in me! This novel fully sweep me away. It tugged on all my heart strings and left my heart full of hope and love. Lynn's writing is clear and gentle, creating the perfect environment for love to blossom. Lynn beautifully explores what it means to fall in love with your own kid, to fall in love with someone you spent just a brief moment with, and to fall in love with a new family.

This novel is the gentle and soft love story between Caleb and Emily. These two had a one night stand that resulted in Landon, the best thing that every happened to Emily. And watching these three get their happily ever after was endearing and gratifying. I loved that both Caleb and Emily have the best of intentions towards each other and their son, regardless of how much money they have or how they were raised. I love that Caleb and Emily, for the most part, when it comes to a miscommunication or misunderstanding, can take a deep breath and redirect the situation. While there is a third act "breakup" that I could have done without, it is cleared up with clarity, care and understanding in a short manner.

Overall, I just felt really happy reading this. I loved the glimpses of trust and understanding that easily builds between everyone. I loved the insight to an expansive family that is sure to bring lots of other wonderful stories. I loved being able to explore a new author for me and find someone I am excited to dig into their backlist!

If you are truly looking for a book to fill your heart with joy, pick up Unending Love! I would so highly recommend this novel and I am so excited to watch this series grow!
