Book Review
Beautiful Exile is absolute perfection! Catherine Cowles is one of those authors who just works for me in every way. I anticipate each new release knowing I am going to be swept away into a beautiful romance that is built with care, emotions, moments and understanding. I know that Cowles is going to keep me guessing what might be lurking out in the suspense that creates the conflict and catalyst for the couple to find strength and support in the other. Cowles does not disappoint and Beautiful Exile is exactly what I needed and expected! I love this series, I love this family, and I love seeing each of them find their happily ever after. With each book Cowles gets better and better and you should absolutely drop everything and pick up this (or any one of her series)!
This is Arden and Linc's romance. Two people with pasts that give them a deep and rich understanding of the other from the moment they lay eyes on each other. Cowles brings their romance to life with the care and understanding I know to expect from her. Creating these beautifully dimensional characters and making them easy to relate to is a super power of Cowles and over the past three novels we have falling in love with Arden and introduced to Linc. I love that Cowles creates these emotional characters who are the perfect balance to the other. I love that the reader can truly experience the growth, chemistry and tension that give the perfect depth and understanding to the gravity of the feelings the develop between these two characters. I love that we see them challenge each other. I love that we see them fight for each other. I love that their journey only enriches their emotions to the supportive system around them. Getting to really see into Arden, and experience her outlet of art was a truly beautiful and gratifying experience, one that will stay with me for a long time, and one that I am looking forward to experiencing again on a reread. Additional bonus, their is the perfect furry companion and protector in Brutus who is such a joyful and wonderful character in himself!
I love the Colson Family and think you should absolutely read each of these novels. Catherine Cowles is a must read author for any romantic suspense lover and you absolutely must pick up this novel!
