Can We Try? is the perfect conclusion to Kaylee Ryan's Everlasting Ink series! I have loved this series from the very beginning and Ryan has beautifully given each of these swoon worthy heroes their perfectly happily ever afters! Ryan's writing is well paced, conversational in tone, and extremely engaging. I find myself always falling easily into her stories, falling for the heroes, befriending the heroines and loving the gentle beauty of the ease of falling in love and taking a chance! Ryan is one of those authors who I know what I am going to get and she does it with such beauty, care and clarity. Can We Try? can be easily read as a standalone, but I will say you will have a much stronger emotional connection to everyone if you read this series in order.

This is Maggie and Lachlan's love story. It is the story of how a friendship can grow into something truly beautiful. This novel is a one night stand, surprise pregnancy, friends to lover's romance, that shines from page one to the end. I love gentle nature, the openness, and the exploration of communication that drives this love story. I love that this romance is about taking the chance on the unknown and the beauty that can come from it. This novel balances grief and devastation with the miracle of life and newness. I fell so easily in love with this novel, these characters and their journey, I laughed with them, I cried with them, I was fully invest in them, their world and their support system. If you love a romance that will take you on an emotional journey but hold your hand along the way so you know you will be taken care of then this novel is going to be right up your alley!

Definitely pick up this novel and each one in this series! Kaylee Ryan is sure to become a favorite author of yours if you love a strong hero who is beyond caring and kind to those around him, who appreciates the value of friends and family, and who will treat the woman he loves like a true gift and someone to support, trust and provide whatever will highlight her strength and beauty.
