Curves for Days by Laura Moher

Curves for Days is such a lovely and heartfelt romance. This is the first novel I have read by Laura Moher, and it is sure not to be my last. Moher's writing is clear and casual, giving the perfect town for a small town romance. Moher's characters are interesting and dimensional and the small town world she builds in the novel is charming and such a lovely support system for the heroine and hero. Curves for Days is a well paced story that focuses on the heroine Rose who is at a cross point in her life.

I really enjoyed watching Rose build this new world and supportive friendship circle around her, as she learns to start over and tend to her needs. This novel blends humor and lightness with some past experiences that are darker and more complicated (definitely check any content notes-does deal with bullying, fat-phobia, ptsd, non consensual sex). The heart of this novel is really rooted in starting over and being true to yourself. Rose and Angus make the perfect pair as they work together renovating Rosie's new house. I really love watching them circle each other and be so attracted to the other without knowing or understanding how the other feels. I love that after they both open up to each other that they take their physical growth at a pace that works for them, and they never overstep the others boundaries. This novel is sexy and fun while still dealing with heavier topics and issues with a care that is understandable and relatable. Yes there are some misunderstanding that pull these two apart in a third act breakup, but they feel necessary and a place for growth for both of they so they can work through some of the self-worth issues they both have.

This book is sweet and sexy, and the hero loves the heroine's body and mind that give such a wonderfully body positive look to this story. I loved watching these two learn what matters in a relationship. I loved seeing them work through the value they both have and that love is not a tipping scale.

Definitely check this book out if it interests you, Laura Moher is definitely worth the read and I hope to get more romances within this world.

Thank you to Sourcebooks Casablanca and NetGalley for an eARC, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
