Double Fault by Ella Wren

Double Fault is a fun, engaging and predictable single-dad and nanny romance. Ella Wren’s debut novel is well written, well paced, and sensual, proving that she is a writer to keep an eye on! This novel has the fun of a charming kid (Maddie), and a wonderful relationship between her and the heroine (Sabrina) at its heart. Then tension and chemistry between Sabrina and the hero (Noah) is well handled and Sabrina proves to be a strong heroine who can give as much as she gets, which helps to level their power dynamic. I enjoyed the tennis aspect (which I done read a lot) and the forced proximity and travel nature of the plot which kept the pace moving. Double Fault was a lovely debut and has definitely left me intrigued to what Ella Wren’s writing grow!
