Book Review

Samantha Young’s Scottish Isle’s series is pure magic! I am confident when I pick up a Young book that I am going to be swept up away in her world. Drifting Dawn is an emotional and evocative story. I was taken on the emotional rollercoaster of second chance romance and true love that this story explores. Young’s writing is clear, elegant and deliciously sensual.

Quinn and Taran are two soul mates who have had the innocents of young love and the newness of adulthood tear them apart, it is only now that they are older and more understanding of the world that they are able to reconnect with each other and rediscover the love that never died. Young beautifully unfolds this story while interweaving brief moments of the past to fill in the gaps while keeping the present at the forefront. I loved watching these two continue to take chances, challenge each other to trust, and take a risk on forever!

If you love a rich romance, full of tension, sensuality and a bit of suspense and danger, then this series is the one for you! Samantha Young remains a must read author for me and I so highly encourage you to read this novel and all of her other work!
