Kaylee Ryan has slowly made her readers fall head over heels for single dad Baker and now it is time for him to fall head over heels for the woman who has been right under his nose for some time. Follow the Play is the fourth installment in Ryan's Nashville Rampage series, and it is a warm hug of an addition to this found family friend group! With all the wonderful things I have come to expect from Kaylee Ryan, this book is like coming home. Ryan's tone is warm, clear and conversational. Her characters are relatable, friendly and just cool people. And her romance weaves beautifully to live with care, understanding and honesty.

I loved that Baker and Sloan have been friends for years and that in a new situation in which they are spending more one on one time with the other that their feelings, connection and attraction are able to take flight. Follow the Play is really a romance about the right time with the right person. As situations align, these two are able to be the support system the other needs as they grow together. I also just eat up a nanny, single father romance, and Ryan brings this dynamic to life with understanding and attention to any power imbalance. I also love a single father romance because watching love, trust and understanding grow in a child is just so pure and gentle, and Camden falls head over heel with Sloan in such a wonderful way. I loved falling in love with this new family, I loved watching the everyday moments build into this rich landscape of feelings, and I love that it is in the everyday someones true self is the most real. Sloan and Baker see each other for they are at their essence, the understand the other, they support the other, and they let love sweep them up into the magic of what the future might bring.

Kaylee Ryan is someone I will loudly sing praises for and will highly encourage anyone looking for a comforting hug to read! Follow the Play is another magical installment in the Nashville Rampage series and I can not encourage you enough to pick up this series and this book!
