Forbidden Desires by Corinne Michaels

Book Review

This novel is a deliciously sweet, beautifully romantic escape, and a lovely way to conclude the Whitlock series! Corinne Michaels truly outdoes herself with this novel. It's always been you, single father and a modern day marriage of convenience are the perfect tropes to bring to life Brynlee and Carson's story! Michaels' writing will swiftly pull you into this romance that is bursting with chemistry and all the sexy and romantic feels. Michael's characters are dynamic and leap off the page, and this world and this family is such a joy to spend your time with! I adore Corinne Michaels and this novel is just another favorite to add to my shelf.

Crew and Bryn are absolutely perfect to each other and their chemistry and pull to the other is palpable and visural at every stage of their romance. Michaels does a lovely job of slowly providing the reader with their whirlwind romance when they were youths and this helps to mimic the uncertainty and tension that pulls between them as they learn to trust each other again. I love that Crew has been head over heels for Bryn since the start and even though he had family duties that took him away from her, he has always loved her. He is an absolute swoon worthy hero and such a strong and dedicated father it is no wonder Bryn has no chance of resisting him! I love that Bryn is a heroine who will always do what she sees as right and she will always follow her guts. Bryn is strong, determined and smart, she is someone who works hard for herself and those she loves. She is also someone who is willing to forgive and she can understand the complexities of others. These two really balance each other, they give each other strength and love and support and watching them find their HEA is truly a beautiful experience.

Corinne Michaels is absolutely a must read author for me! I hope that you pick up this book and this series and fall deeply in love with her strong and independent heroines and the heroes who love and support them with their whole hearts!
