Irresistible by Willow Aster

Willow Aster's Landmark Mountain series has just been such a wonderful small town escape. Each novel has a unique ness to it that feel new and inviting while still holding the comfort of a family I know and grow deeper and deeper in love with. Aster's writing is clear, open and engaging. Her romance shines through with well rounded characters with understandable motives and desires. The Landmark family is so charming, and I have reveled in watching them each get their HEAs and can't wait to continue to watch this world grow and expand.

Irresistible is Marlow and Wyatt's romance. They both might start off a bit on the wrong foot, but their attraction and chemistry will help to guide them to a clear path. Marlow is a single mom, new to town, and going through a divorce. I love that the divorce aspect of her relationship is not a point of contention or disrupt, but rather it is a health decision made by a woman who knows she and her daughter deserve better. I love that Wyatt, who is a doctor, has this instant connection with Marlow's daughter. I love that Wyatt's sees and treats her with respect, familiarity and love. Watching Wyatt fall head over heels for both Marlow and Dakota is so beautiful. Aster does a lovely job always keeps the love of family and friends at the heart of this series in a really wonderful way that shows that relationships can thrive when surrounded by the support of others who love you. This novel is sweet, sensual, and takes the proper roots of growth and learning in order to put both Wyatt and Marlow in a place of respect and understanding so they can truly develop a lasting romance.

If you love a man who respects his family, understands the importance of a Mother/daughter relationship, see the care that a man can prove a young girl, and respects boundries that are set, then Wyatt is the hero for you. I adored him at every step of the way. He of course has moments of cockiness and humor, but you can always feel that his heart is in the right place. Marlow is a wonderful mother and friend, she is someone's number one confidant, and she is finally able to see that she deserves certain things in life that her first marriage was not providing. Marlow is strong and brave and watching her blossom in this new town and building a support system around her give this novel a beautiful depth that surpasses a simple romance.

If you are a small town romance lover, that this novel is sure to charm you. I whole heartedly recommend this novel, this series and Willow Aster as a must read in this sub-genre!\
