Never Too Soon is the first novel I have read from Chelle Bliss and it will certainly not be my last! Bliss’ writing is conversational, open, accessible, well paced, and beautifully eloquent. I was swiftly swept up into this small town, single father romance. The characters are well balanced and charming. Bliss perfectly paced the growing relationship with charming interactions that make the relationship between the hero and heroine sweet and endearing. Bliss also balances the children and how they effect the growth of the relationship with and understanding that the love is not just between the hero and heroine but about growing a family.
This is the second novel in Bliss’ Star Fall series and it can absolutely be read as a stand-alone, it has also made me super excited to go back and read the first novel and explore Bliss’ back list. This novel explores the growth of a relationship that comes with a ready made family. It explores opening your heart not just to romance but to the love and care of two young and impressionable children. I love the slow build that this relationship takes, I love that they are both extremely attracted to the other but they know that they must take some things slow. I love that we see them date with kids in tow and we see how the heroine opens her heart and mind to how important she must see all of these new and budding relationships. This novel also does a wonderful job of showing two people who understand each other, support each other and always make sure they are on the same page.
This novel is sweetly sensual, with a steady build of chemistry and tension. Watching a new family grow and take root was really charming and Chelle Bliss beautifully executes it with grace and care. If you are in the mood for a single father romance with an artistic tattoo artist, then look no further than this small town romance!
Thank you so much to Valentine PR for an eARC, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
