Book Review

A delicious balance of romance and action will keep you actively engaged in Christina Sol's newest novel Out of the Shadows, which is also the first in a new series. The comfort of a small pacific coast island town is the central setting for this romantic suspense the evocatively brings to life the beauty of the outdoors in the hustle and bustle of a high stress job. Sol's writing is engaging and clear bringing to life this fast paced friends to lovers romance. Sol's characters are interesting and relatable making this workplace romance believable and swoon worthy. I have found Sol's work to be sweetly romantic and heart thumping action resulting in a plot driven novel that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Out of the Shadows is a workplace romance that brings Bean, a computer and hacker genius, and Gavin, an active owner Hudson Security, together giving them the opportunity to see the other in a new light. From the first page of this novel the outside plot and action is actively working to bring these two together. The fast paced nature of this novel works well as these friends fall quickly into a tension filled chemistry that will lead them to take a chance love. I really enjoyed watching their relationship develop out of an already mutual respect and trust for the other. It was charmingly sweet to see these two find an attraction to the other that they have never really examined. I love the trust and understanding that is already a strong foundation of their relationship and how that develops into a care and consideration for the other's well being. Their romance is so much fun, and I loved seeing both of them experience the hobbies and interest the other has and finding this common ground where they can share these joys with each other.
Christina Sol will deliver is you are looking for a fast paced romance full of action. I would highly recommend this novel and this is a perfect entry point into Sol's romances and world!
