Lighthearted, sensual and fun are synonymous with Bella Matthews and her novels! Teasing is another gem to add to her pile! Full of laughter, heart, care and emotion, this novel was another wonderful installment in the Red Lips & White Lies series. Matthews’s writing is like a warm hug, its comforting and familiar, easily engaging and well paced, with the joy of rich and well know characters to round out a charming romance. Teasing also has many well loved tropes that Matthews uses with great expertise to create this touching and emotional romance that balances the heart and humor of humanity in all the various stages and complications of what it means to be alive.

This next door neighbor, nanny, footballer/single dad romance is the perfect romantic escape. The novel explores what family means, what friendship means and what a true support system looks like. It has the heart warming nature of falling in love and protecting a child like they are your own that I absolutely adore in single parent romances. It has the tension of will they won’t they. It has the sizzle of burning chemistry. It has the humor of meddling family and friends. I adore this novel. I loved the romance between Mav and Emmie’s romance and the deep trust they build with each other especially when it comes to Rosie, Mav’s daughter. I was so charmed by Emmie and Rosie’s relationship, and this strong bond they build with each other on their own terms. The care and support these three gift to each other is what makes their romance so sweet and endearing.

Each installment in this series just gets better and better! This series has definitely proven to me that Bella Matthews is a romance author I love and am excited to see what she is going to gift us with next! Definitely pick up a Bella Matthews’s novel as soon as you can! This novel, while it can be read as a standalone, is really lovely when read in order and context of this series.
