Book Review

Kaylee Ryan has truly outdone herself with this final installment in the Nashville Rampage series! I have fallen in love with each and every one of these novels, and while I am sad to say goodbye to this found family, I am left with a full heart watching the rampage coach find his happily ever after. Ryan has beautifully crafted this emotionally drive story where love finds a way to conquer all. Ryan's writing is reflective and internal, it is driven by the hero and heroine's internal thoughts and struggles, and by being a much more thought and feelings driven novel I was fully invested with each moment and action.

Coach Will Warner and Amanda are two characters who have circled the background of this series for a handful of books now. They are two souls who have been a bit lost and yearn for the love the others are finding. This novel explores them both in a time of their lives where they are free to want more. This novel is a soft exploration of finding love in the unexpected. Taking the time to learn the other. Understand what it means to be self-less. Will and Amanda might seem like opposites, and their age difference might cuz a few side eyes, they are two souls that were made for each other and meant to find each other in this moment and build a future together. Their love story is emotionally driven, full as beautiful actions, charged with chemistry, and full of comfort. Will is a swoonworthy hero who has learned how to show and take care of those around him, to put others first, and to take the risk on Amanda. Amanda is a new single mom, divorced from her high school sweetheart, and learning how to ask and accept help. These two fill the lonely and spaces that the other holds and they walk this precarious line of the forbidden nature of their love story.

Risk the Play is a perfect conclusion to this wonderful series of brotherhood and found family. Kaylee Ryan will take you on this emotional journey and will leave you knowing that true love is something that is always worth fighting for! Ryan is a most read author for me and I will never have the perfect words to convince you to read each of her works, expect don't sleep on her novels especially if you love a hero who will do absolutely anything for the love of his life.

Thank you so much to Kaylee Ryan and her team for an eARC, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
