Adorable and lighthearted sports romances are definitely a strength of Piper Rayne’s. If you are in the mood for a quick paced romance that is full of delight, sprinkled with steam, and is sure to leave a smile on your face you must dive into Piper Rayne’s catalogue! Their style and tone are quickly engaging, their characters are clear and understandable, and the story is sweet and romantic. Their books in the Chicago Grizzlies series are all very easily read as stand alone and any of them will provide an easy entrance point into this sports world. Something Like Love is the third installment in this series and it is a heartwarming romance between two best friends. Piper Rayne does a lovely job transitioning this solid friendship into a romantic relationship. The hero is so charming and head over heels for the heroine, and watching her learn to take a risk with her feelings is what truly drives this story forward. This romance is sweetly built on trust and openness and learning to embrace the unknown and take a risk on something that could be absolutely wonderful!
If you are a Piper Rayne fan I am sure you will adore this. And if you want a fast paced, sweetly romantic story then this is a lovely place to start your journey into Piper Rayne’s backlist.
