Stay by Willow Aster

The Landmark Mountain series has truly been one I have treasured. Willow Aster has beautiful brought to life this small town, she has welcomed her readers into this loving and wonderful family, and she has gifted each one of them with their perfectly happily ever after. I have loved each and every moment, I have fallen in love with each character, and it is a bittersweet to say goodbye to this series, but I know Aster will continue to give us little glimpses into their world as her universe expands. Aster’s writing is easy and conversational, her characters are interesting and well developed, and the romances are swoon worthy, caring and heartening. If you love a small town, family focused romance then you will adore falling in love with the Landmark Family. I love this series and this family, and am so excited to continue to watch Willow Aster grow her expanding universe!

Stay is the final installment in this family’s romantic journey and it features the oldest brother, Sutton, who is a single father. This romance is the delicious nanny/boss trope, but there is so much heart and care in this story that I adored seeing Aster’s take on this beloved trope. The romantic tension and the relationship between Felicity and Owen are both given the care and consideration necessary to show the true trust and building of a family. I loved watching Felicity and Owen fall for each other and for Owen to find a feminine figure who could provided him with the care and understanding of a mother that he lacks in his relationship with his birth mom. I loved watching Sutton come to terms with the fact that age does not always matter when it comes to finding a partner who will love, care and protect you. This romance was a gentle one built on true understanding, care and trust. This romance was an expansion of a supportive family and a beautiful way to wrap up this family’s HEAs!

Definitely do yourself a favor and pick up these books! I find Willow Aster’s novels to be a delightful escape that always hit the spot!

Thank you so much to Valentine PR for an eARC, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
