Marni Mann has proven herself a go to author for a cocky billionaire hero who falls deliciously head over heels for a sunshiny heroine. Mann’s writing is easily engage-able, her characters are interesting, and her pacing keeps you turning page after page. With city vibes and the wonder of dreams, Mann brings to life this romance about a chef who has lost his love of cooking and an young woman with a big dream to feed the world with great quality and innovative food no matter the size of your purse.

Sparks fly early, as Mann likes to do, with a one night stand and then surprise new employee relationship between Walker and Alivia. These two have an instant beautiful connection and the beauty of this romance is watching them grow together, challenge the other, and provide undying support. Walker as a jaded hero at a point of his life where he is no longer in love with what he sees as his identity has this wonderful journey of rediscovering who his is, his creativity and new dreams through the eyes of Alivia. Alivia is a heroine who has taken the bad things in her life and still holds on to optimism and the want to create something beautiful. I loved watching these two come together and create something they could both be proud of. These two show how you can grow together into something even bigger than you originally hoped.

This novel is a really lovely read and I would definitely recommend to any romance reader! Marni Mann is a fairly new to me author but as I continue to read her works she is definitely on track to become a new top favorite!
