West of Forever by Corinne Michaels

What a stellar start to this new romance series by Corinne Michaels! From page one I was in love with this novel, I mean, who doesn’t love a single dad, a touch of family rivalry, and a secret romance! Michaels has outdone herself! Michaels’ writing and story building shines in the Romeo and Juliet-Esq style romance. Her writing is clear and engaging, weaving together heartache and joy with ease! Her characters leap off the page and it is so exciting to fall in love with this new family and group of people, I cannot wait to get each and every happily ever after.

Tristan and Lark are the center of West of Forever and their romance is one that feels a bit inevitable. I love watching their attraction blossom and grow. The chemistry and tension sparkles as they try to stay away and then they try to keep everything or secret and leave emotions out. Watching Lark develop this really lovely relationship with Sadie, Tristan’s daughter, is also such a wonderful element to show Lark as a caretaker and someone invested in Tristan’s world. Michaels’ does a fantastic job in building this world, these families, and the sense of comfort and understating. Each page made me feel like I was enveloped in a warm embrace I did not want to leave!

I cannot sing enough praises to encourage you to pick up this book! This is a beautiful place to start your love or Corinne Michaels as well as one to continue solidifying your trust in her as a must read author! Now we will just have to wait a little bit to watch the next HEA unfold and I am so excited to see who is up next.
