The Ember Falls series is beautiful brought to its conclusion in Corinne Michaels's newest release Come What May! This novel swept me up and took me along for this heartwarming, age gap, best-friends father, one-night stand romance. Michaels is a trope master as she weaves together this small town romance and takes us back to the charming small town of Ember Falls and this group of friends who enrich the heart of this story. Michaels's writing is delightful and engaging, easily drawing the reader in with full and characters and situations that are understandable and relatable. I have adored this series from the beginning and Come What May is a wonderful conclusion to this group of guy friends I have fallen in love with!

Killian and Tessa are pure sparks from the moment they meet, this one night stand is swiftly shattered when Tessa realizes that Killian is her PR client. And the buck does not stop her, as they get to know each other and the chemistry builds they decide to take the risk of having a basic friends with benefits relationships but of course feelings get in the way and quickly develop and then are thrown for another loop when Tessa connects the dots and realizes Killian is her best friends biological father! Michaels does a really lovely job focusing the first half of this story on the relationship, tension and chemistry that sparks between these two. The reader experiences them fall for each other as they work together to solve the issues happening at Killian's horse ranch and the mysteries around his missing employee and try to find a way to save his ranch financially. These two in the support of each other some that they are a strong team and their chemistry is just off the charts it is hard for them to ignore, and even though they enter into as just a benefits situation, it is clear that Killian and Tessa both are blurring the lines with romantic first dates and soft and caring touches. I love that as these two are falling in love their age gap is never really the issue that keeps them apart, their souls see the perfect partner for each other and they run with it. Once the bomb of who Killian is to her best friend, Tessa goes on an emotional journey of sharing this with her friend and wanting to respect her relationship with her friend while protecting her heart. I loved that as the action and mystery around Killian's ranch comes to a head, we see Tessa fully embrace her feelings and her strength and determination to be by Killian's side helps to show her friend and herself that love is always worth fighting for!

Corinne Michaels beautiful crafts this novel and grows this deep romance into something so delightful. I loved this novel and would so highly recommend it and this series! You are sure to fall in love with each and every one of these novels, you will laugh, tear up, and be left with a full heart at the end of each wonderful romance!
